Position Overview
Holistic Therapeutic Wellness is seeking a compassionate and motivated Master Social Worker
(MSW) to provide individual therapy services to adolescents, adults, and/or families in an
outpatient behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting clients
through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
• Provide individual psychotherapy services to clients experiencing emotional, behavioral,
relational, or mental health concerns
• Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation according to agency, insurance,
and ethical standards
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed
interventions, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as clinically indicated
• Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in accordance with the National
Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics
• Coordinate care with outside providers and community resources when appropriate
• Respond appropriately to crisis situations and complete safety assessments as needed
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• LMSW eligible and/or active license in the state of MD, DC, or VA
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while seeking supervision appropriately
